Drama and Singing Teacher

We are looking for a Drama and Singing teacher to take over teaching our main school in Stevenage. The candidate should be energetic with good leadership skills and have some experience in directing youth theatre shows. If the candidate also teaches dance, this is a bonus. Previous experience teaching children aged 7-18 is essential as well as a DBS check:

- £23.00 per hour for 1-1.5hrs p/week (5pm-6:30pm)

- Commission-based pay (£50.00 for every student you recommend to us who joins)

We are looking for more teachers to join us for flexible working hours when we need cover for our regular classes. There is also the opportunity for permanent roles. The candidates should have a love of teaching young people, experience in teaching students either aged 3-6, or 7-18, and either have trained at drama school or be working in the professional industry. DBS check essential:

- £23.00 per hour (between 1-3 hours per evening of cover)

Mini's Assistants

At Mimic we love to offer opportunities to young people who want to gain experience in the working world. We are looking for more assistants for our Mini's classes which run on weekdays during the week. The candidate should have an interest in teaching children and experience in performing:

- £8.00 per hour up to age 18; £8.50 per hour up to age 22

- Weekday cover 4pm-5pm (with potential for regular hours)

Assistant Stage Manager/Production Assistant

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic ASM to join our team and work with us on our shows. Roles might include: making props and costumes lists, sourcing props and costumes, transporting props and costumes to show/rehearsal venues, taking part in production meetings, making running orders, organising backstage, helping cast members try on costumes for sizes, helping with rehearsals ie timing runs, prompting, reading in for absent cast, keeping cast quiet etc:

- £10 per hour

- 9 hours (£90) per show (up to 5 shows per year)

- Flexible hours, daytimes, definitely evenings and weekends

- Please note, this is an ad hoc role (casual, as and when needed)
